Intellectual property is considered by CAC as the core energy and guarantee of a company’s development. An independent intellectual property office is in place in CAC with professionals who owns ”Chinese Patent Agent Qualification Certificate”. The IP office is the key assurance for new compounds development strategy and is responsible for the application of compound, formulation and process patents. For generic products, the IP office is the foundation of understanding the patent time scope clarifying the protection boundary to evaluate the FTO status before the product development, pilot test, production and launch. Till now, CAC have applied 165 patents with 90 of them authorized and 75 of them under examination or accepted. These patents play an important role in expanding our business in domestic and oversea markets and assure the safety of sustainable business. Meanwhile, CAC have 52 registered brands and two authorized software copyrights.
