Recently, CAC-I-785——the insecticide which is innovated and developed by CAC independently has been moved into field trails stage for its first efficacy test. CAC paid high attention to this test. Agronomist Dr. Geng led a group including product managers & Greentech experts visited seven plots which covered Changsha, Nanchang and Jiujiang three areas and collected primary data of CAC-I-785 application dose and time window against the rice stem borer.

Study director completed safety instruction & testing info before the visit. All visitors observed the crop and record result in various areas. At the same time, Dr. Geng offered professional guidance on site during the observation.  

Project director Xiang Juncheng organized discussion to evaluate visit results after each observation finished. All participants agreed these field trails with reasonable design and clear results. CAC-I-785 showed up excellent performance against rice stem borer in the Coragen resistance areas. Dr. Geng highly appreciated team’s hard-working spirit and encouraged all keeping doing good job in the following tests.

The visit strengthened all people’s confidence about the performance of CAC-I-785 against 2^nd generation of rice stem borer. CAC is looking forward to hear more good info in future.
